Lazy Sunday and
the TV screen blare.
Brownies tinged green and
we just lay there.
Weird kids movie,
stories that never end.
Sugar coats my lips
Mary Jane’s sweet kiss.
Soaring to cloud nine,
feet ensconcing on the chair.
My mind in space, it’s aeronautic.
The roof submerged, it’s aquatic.
Everything is so funny.
Everything is so stunning.
And I feel nothing, nothing.
No anguish. No misery.
No desire for morrow
where all fēlan withers
and scatters to Tartarus
where anguish arises.
Butterflies find respite
in the hyme of my mind.
Different shapes in this daze.
Your name echoes in my cave.
Can’t let everyone down.
As I fall to the ground.
A feeling so loud and
I think he hates me now.
